Dr. Breaux, OMD, is an NCCAOM diplomat trained in Chinese Herbal therapy.Chinese Herbal Medicine looks at each patient and their symptoms individually. The doctor will determine the proper herbal formula to help bring the patient's health back into balance.Dr. Breaux is also trained in Chinese food therapy.

Dr. Breaux, OMD, has trained in dry needling and trigger point therapy. She finds it extremely beneficial when used in conjunction with traditional Acupuncture protocols.

Meet Dr. Sarah Breaux, OMD

Dr. Breaux has been interested in natural medicine since acupuncture reversed her severe chronic asthma 20 years ago.  Ever since, she has been on a mission to help others take back control of their health and well being.Dr. Breaux was born and raised in Las Vegas.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a pre-professional concentration from UNLV.  She received her Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine from Wongu University of Oriental Medicine where she studied: Acupuncture, Traditional East Asian Medicine, and Chinese Herbology.

NCCAOM ORIENTAL MEDICINE DIPLOMATE BADGE

I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor which was surgically removed December of 2022. The surgery left me with a condition called bells palsy. Six months after surgery, I was losing hope and the left side of my face was still paralyzed with no visual movement whatsoever. After searching for treatment or some kind of rehab, I found Innovative Acupuncture Center. On my first visit, Dr.Sarah explained in detail the treatment plan and what to expect moving forward. Innovative Acupuncture Center came recommended to me by a family member for acupuncture for my sinus pressure, TMJ and indigestion. I hadn't tried acupuncture before so I didn't know what to expect.
